Kayla was born and raised in Edmonton, where she obtained her law degree at the University of Alberta.
While in law school, Kayla was actively involved with various organizations and programs. She volunteered with Student Legal Services, a non-profit society dedicated to providing legal assistance to the low-income community. She also operated a legal clinic at the Boyle Street Community Centre, where she helped marginalized individuals navigate the justice system. In her final year, Kayla gained considerable court experience through an internship with Legal Aid Alberta.
Prior to joining Assiff Law, Kayla practiced as a criminal defence lawyer at a well-respected firm in the city. She fiercely advocated for her clients and gained extensive litigation and trial experience. She is eager to apply these skills to achieve successful results for her clients at Assiff Law.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoys travelling, fishing, and spending time with her senior dogs. She strongly believes in giving back to the community through volunteering, and has worked with the Edmonton Food Bank, Mustard Seed Society, Boyle Street Community Services, Hope Mission, and the Elizabeth Fry Society.
Kayla is thrilled to be a member of Assiff Law and would be happy to meet with you to discuss your personal injury claim.
